Welcome to the web site for the University of Minnesota Student Chapter of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists! Our members include graduate students and postdoctoral associates from the fields of pharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, pharmacology, biomedical engineering, chemistry, materials science, et al.

Our mission is to :

(1) encourage AAPS membership enrollment of students at an early stage of their graduate study programs;

(2) increase student participation in the AAPS activities at local, regional and national level;

(3) increase student awareness of the latest advances and discoveries in the pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical sciences areas;

(4) increase student awareness of career opportunities;

(5) provide students with opportunities for professional advancement and leadership development;

(6) provide students coming from non-pharmaceutical background with opportunities to interact with professionals in the pharmaceutical sciences area;

(7) foster participation in outreach activities that further the goals and objectives of AAPS.
