Bowling Idol Contest: search for the best bowler of the year
The AAPS Student Chapter organized a bowling event at Goldy's Game Room in Coffman Union. A number of graduate students, postdocs and faculty from the departments of Pharmaceutics and Experiment and Clinical Pharmacology (ECP) competed in the contest, while enjoying pizza, soda and chicken wings. The bowling contest was very competitive and a lot of fun. The students participated in teams of two and awards were handed out for the best team performance, and the highest individual score. The first place team (Eric Nuxoll and YuanYuan Xie) received $30 gift cards, the second place team (Kyle Baron and Shyeilla Dhuria) received $20 gift cards, and raffle drawings for stuffed animals that look like tiny microbes (ebola, the common cold, kissing disease, etc.) were held throughout the evening. The highest individual score went to Eric Nuxoll. If his career in Pharmaceutics does not work out, he can always fall back on bowling!
